Analysis

Before any employee training project is designed it is critical to first determine which topics would be appropriate.  There is no charge to the client for this phase, which consists of the following steps:

  • Schedule and conduct a meeting between Dale Carnegie of Vermont and senior management to discuss relevant development opportunities and needs
  • Schedule and conduct individual meetings with representative individuals at the organization to obtain their perspective and ideas
  • A meeting is scheduled to present a summary report of the individual meetings to senior management

Appraisal

  • Based on these meetings Dale Carnegie of Vermont submits a proposal for appropriate development training
  • If the proposal is accepted, the organization and Dale Carnegie of Vermont determine a convenient schedule for the training

Application

  • The organization and representatives from Dale Carnegie of Vermont determine the criteria for identifying the participants for the development project
  • Dale Carnegie of Vermont creates the training materials and delivers the project
  • The management team and Dale Carnegie of Vermont monitor the progress during the training and utilize appropriate accountability activities to insure the successful implementation of the training

Assessment

  • Upon completion of the project the senior management team and representatives from Dale Carnegie of Vermont meet to conduct a Post Event Assessment
  • Strategies for encouraging continued implementation of the concepts and techniques are identified
  • A follow-up session is scheduled and delivered, usually 30-90 days after completion of the project
